Aguas Nuevas sits inland from the centre, close to the Habaneras commercial centre, and is one of the more genuinely residential parts of Torrevieja. The mix is Spanish and Northern European in roughly equal measure, the housing is mostly bungalows, semi-detached and low-rise apartments, and a high share of people here live in the property all year rather than seasonally.
Year-round occupancy changes what breaks. Holiday properties get concentrated damage in short bursts and then sit empty. A lived-in Aguas Nuevas bungalow accumulates soiling slowly and evenly over years, which is worse in one specific way: nobody notices. Carpet and upholstery here is usually a great deal dirtier than the owner believes, because the change happened at a rate the eye cannot register.
The other consequence is that this is regular-cleaner territory rather than changeover territory. Most of our Aguas Nuevas work is a weekly or fortnightly visit at €18 an hour with a three-hour minimum, same cleaner every time.
Unlike the centre, most Aguas Nuevas properties have a driveway, a porch space or a garage. That makes mobile valeting the easy option here — we pull up, work on the car where it sits, and you never move it.
The two jobs we do most often in this area are the full valet at €55 and the interior steam clean at €35. Interiors in permanently-resident households collect a different mix to holiday cars: daily use, shopping, pets, school runs, and years of Spanish sun degrading the dashboard plastics and fading fabric. Steam cleans that properly without the greasy silicone dressings that make a dash shine for a fortnight and then attract twice the dust.
