Shutter housings. Spanish persianas run in a boxed unit above the window that collects decades of dust, insect debris and calima grit, and it drops back into the room every single time the shutter is raised. It is the reason a room can be cleaned properly on Monday and feel dusty by Thursday. Almost nobody cleans them because almost nobody knows they open.
Grout. Older Spanish tiling was laid with porous cement grout, and thirty years of mopping has pushed soil into it rather than lifting it out. Steam at commercial temperature pulls it back without the acid descalers that eat the grout itself. On a large tiled floor it is the single most dramatic thing we do, and it is the part people photograph afterwards.
Both are included. Neither is an extra.
Three moments make sense. Before family arrive — the most common booking, usually a week ahead so everything is dry and settled. In September or October, at the end of a letting season, before the property closes for winter with a season’s worth of suncream and sand sitting in the furniture. And in spring, after a calima-heavy few months, which is when the dust load is at its highest.
Combine it with carpet, sofa and mattress work in the same visit and take 10 per cent off the total. Almost everyone does, because the equipment is already set up and it is the cheapest those items will ever be.

We valet your car where it is parked. Fully self-contained van with its own water and power, so we can work in garages and communal parking where washing a car is normally not allowed.
