We come to you — driveway, garage or communal parking space. Our van carries its own 60-litre water tank and power, so no hosepipe, no tap and no plug socket needed. That means we can work in urbanisations where washing cars on the street is banned. Book any two services on the same visit and take 10% off the total. Landlords and property managers with three or more properties get fixed contract rates — ask on WhatsApp.

A fully self-contained van, which matters more than it sounds

Our van carries its own water supply and its own power. Nothing plugs into your property and no hose runs from your tap. That sounds like a detail until you look at where cars actually get parked in Torrevieja.

Most apartment blocks here have underground or gated parking with drainage that is not designed for wash water, and most communities have rules in the statutes prohibiting washing vehicles in communal areas. Torrevieja town also periodically restricts washing vehicles with mains water during drought measures. Between them, that rules out the ordinary approach for a large share of residents.

Because we bring everything, we can work in an underground garage, a gated communal space or on a driveway with no outside tap. We control our water volume, so nothing floods across a shared floor. In practice this is the reason most of our customers use us rather than driving to a rollover wash.

Salt, calima and hard water — the Torrevieja paint problem

Three things attack a car parked on this coast, and they compound.

Salt. Airborne salt settles on paintwork as a fine hygroscopic film that pulls moisture out of the air and holds it against the surface. Left on, it accelerates oxidation of the clearcoat and corrosion at every stone chip and panel edge. Wiping a salted car with a dry cloth grinds the crystals across the paint and puts swirl marks in.

Calima. Saharan dust events leave a heavy layer of very fine abrasive particulate. The instinct is to hose it off, but hosing without lubrication drags it across the clearcoat. It needs snow foam and a proper contact wash.

Hard water. Mains water in Torrevieja runs around 42 to 50 French degrees. Wash a car with it and let it air dry in Spanish sun and the minerals bake into the clearcoat as white rings that do not simply polish out. This is far and away the most common self-inflicted paint damage we see here, and it is why we wash with treated water and hand dry every panel rather than letting it evaporate.

Our exterior wash is snow foam, two-bucket contact wash, wheels and arches, glass and tyre dressing, at €25. The full valet, inside and out, is €55 and takes around two hours.

Interior steam cleaning — sand, suncream and sun damage

Interiors on this coast take a specific beating. Beach sand in the footwells and the seat runners. Suncream and sun oil transferred from skin to seat fabric, where it oxidises into a yellow-brown mark that darkens over months. Sweat salts in cloth seats from summer driving. Dust in every vent.

We steam clean interiors rather than spraying solvent-based dressings around. Steam sanitises the surfaces, lifts grease and body oils out of the fabric, cleans vents and switchgear properly and leaves no sticky residue on the dash to attract dust straight back. Interior steam clean and vacuum is €35, or €45 with full hot-water extraction on the seats where there are set-in marks or pet hair.

One Torrevieja-specific job worth knowing about: headlight restoration, €30 a pair. Ultraviolet levels here yellow and haze polycarbonate headlight lenses far faster than in northern Europe, and hazed lenses are a common ITV failure. Restoring them is considerably cheaper than replacing the units.

What people say

★★★★★

“Came to my underground garage which no one else would do. Brought their own water and everything. Car had a year of that Sahara dust on it and came up like new. Did the headlights too, sailed through the ITV.”

Questions

Torrevieja — your questions

How much is a full car valet in Torrevieja?

55 euros for a car, inside and out, taking around two hours. SUVs, 4x4s and seven-seaters are 70 euros. Exterior only is 25 euros and interior steam clean and vacuum is 35.

Do you need a tap or a plug socket?

No. Our van carries its own water and its own power, so nothing connects to your property. That is what lets us work in underground garages and gated communal parking where washing a car is normally not possible.

Can you valet a car in my communal parking space?

Usually yes. Most community statutes prohibit washing vehicles in communal areas because of drainage, but a self-contained mobile valet in your own designated space uses no communal services and produces no run-off, which is what administrators object to.

Why does my car get white spots after washing?

Hard water. Torrevieja mains water runs around 42 to 50 French degrees, and if a car is washed with it and left to dry in the sun the minerals etch into the clearcoat. We wash with treated water and hand dry every panel, which is the only reliable way to avoid it.

Do you do headlight restoration?

Yes, 30 euros a pair. UV levels here haze polycarbonate lenses much faster than in northern Europe and hazed headlights are a common ITV failure. Restoring is far cheaper than replacing the units.
